Graduated Maestro d' Arte in Milano, 1987, TP begun a fast career as illustrator in different fields, military to comics. In 1990 pin ups commissions pratically eclipsed any other subject. In 1997 published the first fetish related book, Fetish Files, a backstage photobook of his drawings. Photography became quickly another media and Tom was quickly one of the most published fetish artist ever. Pratically every magazine got either photos or illustrations, comics or graphics. Actresses, models, singers were portraied Porta's way as well as advertising and trademark were spread over Europe printed paper. The process leads naturally to oil painting and TP exhibit either in solo  shows as well as groups in later years. Detroit gave him a blazing week in 2004 putting his "Hell Bent for Latex"  red painting on the cover of Real Detroit Magazine
in occasion of Dirty Detroit group show.
