The Art of Connie Persampieri

Connie Persampieri is a partially self-taught, and a partially formally-educated artist. She works primarily in watercolor and gouache, but also has a passion for working in graphite. She feels that it is important for her work to convey a sense of emotion, either with the expression, pose, or the interaction between characters. It has often been said that her characters have soulful eyes, expressions, and belong to a world all of their own.

Her artistic career includes 4 years as a graphic illustrator in the United States Marine Corps stationed at Quantico, Virginia;  Five cards for the C.C.G. “Final Twilight”, Artwork for "The Art of Wraith" Books 1 & 2, and as well as having her artwork decorate the front of the toy box in the music video ‘Perfect Fit’ by the Dresden Dolls.

Connie, a self-employed artist, sells her prints and originals at the various comic book & craft shows she attends throughout the season. She also does personal commissions for individuals looking for fantasy-oriented portraits.
