John was born in 1982 just west of Chicago,Illinois and has spent all his life in and around the
city. Growing up in the shadows of the abandoned factories and office buildings that mar its landscape,
John found his place with the subcultures unique to his time and drawn inspiration from them to create his imagery. 

A self-taught illustrator, painter, photographer, and writer; John found the appeal of digital work while in
high school.  He immediately gravitated to this new artistic frontier due to it's unique abilities to
combine and re-interpret existing mediums.  Published at 17, by 18 John's works were being compared to
seasoned professionals like Dave McKean and Ashley Wood.  At 22 he's worked for a number of publishing
companies and designed merchandise and promotional materials for the music and entertainment industries.

John developed his sophisticated and distinct style through his use of art to battle inner struggles and
fears. He has established his reputation in the online art community as an innovator.
