Jim Pavelec- A Brief History 

     In 1974, after viewing The Exorcist at the tender age of two, a pattern began to evolve in young Jim Pavelec’s life, one that he would cultivate to this very day.  That pattern, my friends, an ever increasing love of imagery most foul.  Demons and monsters and devils of all sort consumed his every waking hour, and serenaded him throughout the night.

     But what would be the best way for this fledgling neophyte to express his love?  The options were many.  Perhaps a rusty knife, a neighborhood dog, and a video camera.  No, that seemed a bit too complicated, for our hero is but a simple man.  His eventual choice:  paper and pencil, and after four worthless years at Washington University, a little paint, too.

     Off on his own, the caterpillar began to change into the butterfly.  Armed with his visual encyclopedia of artists past, a firm hatred of humanity, and the desire to dominate, Jim set off into the gaming world where he slaved tirelessly for companies such as Wizards of the Coast, AEG, Fantasy Flight Games, and many others not worth mentioning.

     At the present time Jim lives a comfortable life with his girlfriend Aimee and a house full of that imagery most foul, which makes him happiest of all.
