Azpiri is a specialist in the fantastic erotic comic genre. Alfonso created several books, which were published in Italy, Spain and all over Europe, with titles like "Terror", "Blu", "Il Vampiro" and "I Notturni". He created the character "Chang", a master of martial arts, who appeared in several French magazines, as well as titles such as 'Alpha Cosmos', 'Cephyd' and 'Monster'.Azpiri is certainly one of the masters of the erotic genre in the seventies, devoting himself to classic stories, often with fantasy and horror influences.

His most famous comics from that time are "Dos Figutivos", "Alpha Cosmos" en of course " Lorna and her Robot". His albums where published in the USA, Italy, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Sweden, Austria and Brazil. Nowadays he has a publisher in Spain "Norma editions" and in the Benelux "Arboris" Azpiri is a fan of Science fiction and stageperformances. Those hobby's gave him the advantage of designing spacesuits for a film by Miguel Bose.

His designs for spacesuits, monsters and spaceships where published in several SFbooks.

Azpiri also designed a large number of bookcovers, computergames en lots of software for pc.
